BEBE is Latest Retailer to Ban Exotic Animal Skins After PETA Investigation

BEBE PythonHigh street fashion label BEBE has vowed to steer clear of exotic skins, after a PETA investigation revealed the extreme suffering that reptiles have to deal with when being farmed for fashion.

As PETA believes “animals are not ours to wear”, and with so many high quality imitation animal skin alternatives, we shouldn’t still be using the real thing.

“With such a vast array of stylish cruelty-free shoes, purses, belts, and wallets available, PETA is encouraging all companies to wash their hands of this bloody business now.”

Bebe is the latest to follow in the footsteps of a string of respected retailers such as H&M, Topshop, Adidas, Nike and Victoria’s Secret.
