London based Ethical brand Chinti & Parker have collaborated with specialist pattern organisation, Patternity, to create a capsule collection incorporating architecturally influenced knitwear. Consisting mainly of clean lines and circular shapes in a simple monochromatic tone, the collection is representative of modern construction, as showcased in the minimalist styled campaign.
Chinti and Parker was established in October 2009 by cousins Ana Singh and Rachael Wood, in the hopes of creating a label that would fill a niche style-wise, while managing to keep a sustainable stance. The duo use only natural, high quality materials, such as cotton-cashmere, bamboo and organic cotton, in their designs ,which are often patterned or striped.
They choose not to focus on seasonal trends, but create strong, signature pieces that represent the brand’s unique contemporary, minimalist aesthetic. Transparency is also high on the agenda for the cousins, who ensure each garment comes with a label listing whether it’s fair trade, organic or made within the EU.
