Quality over quantity is the ethos behind Cock & bull , the UK’s first exclusively menswear ethical boutique,  newly opened at the heart of east London. Selling limited edition staple items, all stock is home grown and manufactured here within the U.K, in a bid to promote ‘slow fashion’ and good old’ British style.

The website describes their aesthetic as “old world charm”, creating a sense of traditional heritage craftsmanship, using sustainable materials such as organic merino, hemp and Shetland wools.

Along with their boutique situated on Cheshire Street off Brick Lane, they also have an online store selling a vast range of ethically inspired goods, from essential trans-seasonal knitwear pieces, to limited edition accessories.

Each piece is hand made by a close-knit (excuse the pun!) group of artisans, who weave the yarns, colour, print, knit and sew. From tweed flat caps to hand woven waistcoats, Cock and Bull’s dapper style is leading the way for positive change in a niche market.

Splendid stuff!
