Snail slime doesn’t exactly conjure up images of beauty, however UK skincare brand Dr. Organic understands the benefits of this icky substance. The mucus from snails, believe it or not has many positives.
Not only does it secrete collagen, antibiotics and glycolic acid, it also heals scars and acne, as well as regenerates the skin cells, to keep us looking youthful.
Dr. Organic has unveiled a new skincare range, following the success of its snail slime face cream. The six new products include a facial serum, £17.99, eye serum, £12.99, face mask, £1.99, face cream, £19.99 and hand and nail elixir, £14.99.
The new products will be an addition to the original face gel which launched in 2012 at Holland & Barrett. Other ingredients include jojoba oil and aloe vera, which help prevent signs of ageing.
