This week H&M announced that they will be giving their beauty products a serious revamp, expanding their cosmetics line and giving it a much more refined, mature aesthetic, to compete with other retailers. Sara Wallander, H&M Beauty’s concept designer enthused;
“We are very excited to offer ‘fashion for the face’ at H&M. It’s an opportunity to be inventive & creative & to have fun with colours”
The cosmetics line will include over 700 products, including a full range of makeup items, such as foundations, lipsticks and blushers, nail polishes and even hair tools. Reaching out to their conscious consumers (and what we’re most excited about), is that the swedish retailer will be also offering an Ecocert approved line which means no parabens, silicones and synthetic fragrance! The sustainable line will be made from plant based ingredients and packed in recycled packaging.
