Levi’s Introduces Used Clothing Initiative

Levi's RecyclingLevi’s has expanded its garment recycling initiative, allowing you to donate your unwanted and outgrown clothes (not restricted to Levi’s), to any of its stores throughout the United States. The scheme was inspired by Levi’s hopes to contribute to a “circular economy for textiles”, as the denim brand partnered with I:Collect, who has also worked with H&M and The North Face on their recycling schemes.

The objective is to keep clothing out of landfills, by giving them a new lease of life, as research shows that the average american chucks 70 pounds of used clothing and textiles from their home each year.
