Michael Fassender looked every inch the star in a bespoke Tom Ford suit at The Globen Globes on Sunday, which was specially made for the Green carpet Challenge (GCC) – an initiative helping ethical fashion to make it to the red carpet. The nominated actor wore a black grain de poudre tuxedo with peak lapels and satin details, which was designed using British OEKOTEX® certified wool, which is specially made to have a low environmental impact.
Founder of the GCC, Livia Firth stated;
“I’m very excited to have two wonderful men supporting the Green Carpet Challenge at this year’s Golden Globes. To kick the Awards Season off with both Tom (Ford) & Michael (Fassbender) – & have them celebrate the 7th year of the Green Carpet Challenge rocks!”
Fassbender has been a long time supporter of the GCC, wearing his first GCC suit in 2012, when he attended the BAFTAS in a Giorgio Armani suit made from recycled fabric and sustainable wool.
The Irish talent is not the only famous face to turn the signature red carpet green. Other actors who have supported the GCC include Bradley Cooper, John Krasinski, Rupert Friend and Colin Firth.
