M&S Introduces ‘Footglove Earth’ Shoe Line Made From Coffee Grounds & Plastic

M&S Footglove EarthTurning over a new greener leaf and incorporating more sustainable practices within their designs, M&S is debuting a new eco friendly footwear range made from coffee grounds and plastic bottles.

The Footglove Earth collection features padding made from 70% recycled foam, 100% recycled polyester thread, leather sourced from a gold rated tannery, reinforcements made from 50% recycled bottles and lining made from 57% recycled coffee grounds.

Footglove EarthAs stated on the website, the British supermarket has expressed that it plans to address many social and environmental issues regarding its manufacturing processes, even to the point where it has its very own eco factory for environmentally friendly water, waste and energy efficiency.

Footglove Earth is the first step to a greener highstreet chain – and quite the style statement too!
