Carnaby Street’s New Work-Shop Celebrates Artisanship Through D.IY Classes

Carnaby Street’s New Work-Shop Celebrates Artisanship Through D.IY Classes

A new pop up workshop has opened this May on Newburgh Street. Set in the Newburgh Quarter (a creative hub within Carnaby Street), Work-Shop is currently home to 14 emerging London design talents, who will be holding a series of D.I.Y classes to get your creative juices flowing.  Learn about artisan techniques and sourcing materials locally, from make your own ring classes, hosted by the shop’s curator and  jewellery designer Michelle Oh,  to crafting leather goods.

But for those just passing by the Carnaby Street area, the shop part sells many independent and UK-based brands to peruse at your leisure, including the fantastic Project 104 statement swimwear brand. With various design classes running until August 2nd, it’s definitely worth a visit, while supporting local independent businesses in the process!
