Wearable tech has come a long way in the last couple of years – from Google Glass to 3D printed fashion, and now Nokia are continuing the craze with their ingenious collaboration with British menswear designer A Sauvage.
Together, the team have produced the first ever mobile charging trouser, set to go on sale this summer. The trousers were showcased at London Fashion Week as part of the ‘Modern Man’ SS15 collection.
A Nokia DC-50 wireless charging plate is inbuilt into the garment, enabling your Nokia Qi device to charge when placed in a trouser pocket.
“We have a proud history of working within fashion, having previously collaborated with Bruce Weber & David Bailey, as well as recent partnerships at New York and London Fashion Week.”
In keeping with A Suavage’s signature aesthetic, the trousers, (which will be available for purchase on Amazon), come as a plain, slim fit, clean cut and tailored design, fitting into the lifestyle of the modern, tech savvy man. . Practical and stylish!
