Remade in Britain to Make TV Debut by Partnering With Grand Designs

Zero waste design is edging closer to the spotlight, as the UK’s first online upcycling marketplace, Remade in Britain, is to make a TV debut at Grand Designs Live in May. Based in Excel London, retailers from the site will be able to showcase their designs and run special upcycling workshops for the 1000+ visitors attending.

Founder Donna Fen stated “Grand Designs Live is the pinnacle of the design calendar so securing this partnership is a real coup for Remade and a true credit to the hard work of our team in getting the site to where it is today.”

The event will be a great opportunity for visitors to recognise the best of repurposed and refurbished design, as well as to take inspiration to recycle in creative ways. Since Remade in Britain was launched in November, it now features more than 300 independent upcyclers, with expectations of that statistic to rise to 1000 by the end of the year.
