Sass & Bide Made In Africa Collection Helps Turn Impoverished women into Artisans

Sass Bide AfricaFor the third time Australian label Sass & Bide have teamed up with the Ethical Fashion initiative, working with the International Trade Centre and the United Nations. The bohemian fashion brand worked closely with impoverished women from the Masai, Samburu, Kikuyu and many other African tribes to create a capsule collection of ethnic beaded bags.

Featuring intricate hand embellishments,  and culturally inspired colours, this special Made In Africa collaboration allows disadvantaged women to develop their skills and independence, support their families and better their quality of life.

Others collaborating with the Ethical Fashion Initiative include Vivienne westwood and Stella McCartney.
