Sustainable Spotlight: Finchittida Finch

Finchittida Finch FoundersWith the tag line ‘Made in London, inspired by Laos’, jewellery label Finchittida Finch was born when two identical twins and art and design students, Tida and Lisa, decided to set up their own independent jewellery line.

Focusing on statement accessories, jewellery and homeware, the twins take the best from their roots – London’s contemporary edge combined with Laos’s bohemian aesthetic. Their last collection ‘Kindred Carvings‘ is a stunning line of intricate oversized earrings, embellished chokers and eye-catching mosaic-like pieces inspired by Buddhist temples. I particularly like how they’ve incorporated plexiglass to give each design a bold contemporary finish.

I’m a big fan  of the styling, to the fact that the girls even screen print their own packaging at their local studio in Peckham, sourcing all their materials from within the UK.

The twins are also backing Fashion Revolution Day by posting behind the scenes blogs on their design processes, so for any jewellery enthusiasts out there, their blog is well worth a visit!
