Sustainable Spotlight: Handmade at Amazon

Sustainable Spotlight: Handmade at Amazon

Handmade at Amazon 2Launched on the 8th October, Handmade at Amazon is a new artisan focused marketplace to rival the likes of Etsy and Not on The Highstreet, who specialise in selling custom made items.

The new bespoke gift service had over 600 factory-free items (30% of which can be customised), ready for prime next day delivery from the day it launched, with that number increasing each week. The way it works is that selected artisans can sell their hand crafted goods, with their own online profile page set up, showing their location and descriptions of their designs.

Customers will find the Handmade section through searching “handmade”, or through the shop by department tab located on the homepage. Explore Amazon Handmade’s store here.

“Knowing an item has a unique story behind it creates a personal experience that customers have told us makes owning handmade items special.”
