Fashion and textile waste charity TRAID, has revealed two exclusive collections for its own clothing label Traidremade. The specialist upcycling label has collaborated with traditional heritage menswear brand Percival and Olivia Hegarty, who designs for the brand as well as her own personal label. Both collections are limited edition, and are reinterpretations of classic wardrobe staples.
Keeping to the traditional British theme, all pieces have been made in UK factories, using reclaimed textiles, donations and surplus fabrics from the factory mills of luxury brands.
Percival for Traid Remade features the menswear brand’s signature patterns, with high quality wool and cashmere fabrics, and classic check shirt and navy pea coat designs. Items that have longevity and interchangeability, to contrast with the high-street and fast fashion culture.
Olivia Hegarty for Traid Remade features fitted blazers, coats and playsuits in checks and block colours, featuring luxury silks and jacquard materials. Prices retail from £115.
The collection will be sold online and exclusively at the Percival Store on 43 Berwick st London, from Thursday, 9th October
