A favourite of ours is champion upcycler Lu Flux , who weaves stories with her hands . One glance at her collections and I’m immediately drawn into their quirky charm and doll-like eccentricity that seems to come from another time. A fashion fairytale of mish mash patterns and bold colours .
Having shown at London Fashion Week’s Estethica section, (exclusively for sustainable labels), Lu went on to win the Ethical Fashion Forum’s Innovation Award, celebrating her offbeat aesthetic and dedication to eco fashion.
Originally from the Isle of Wight, Flux went on to study fashion at Edinburgh college of art, where her final collection won the Ocean Terminal Scottish Fashion Graduate Award. Her eponymous label was established in 2009, with 10 collections under her belt, including new children’s clothing line ‘A Mouthful of Milk Teeth‘.
