H&M’s conscious collections are as eco-friendly as high street clothing gets, and as the face of the new SS14 Conscious collection, environmental activist and model Amber Valletta tells us she is “honoured” to be working with the brand, and just why sustainability is so important to her. The major clothing store will be using solely sustainable materials, such as organic cotton and recycled fabrics for their ethical fashion spring/summer line.
But next year H&M are doing things slightly differently, as two collections will be released – the Conscious Collection and Conscious Exclusive (both of which Amber is the face of).
“It has this positive aspect, but it looks great.”
Which is ultimately what the future of fashion should be like. Balancing ethics with aesthetics. H&M, once again give yourselves a big pat on the back!
H&M’s Conscious Collection will be available in store and online form April 10th 2014.
