Zara Joins Others in Angora Boycott

A number of High street stores and designer labels have halted their production of angora products after an undercover investigation by PETA released a video of angora rabbits being tortured through chinese farming processes.

Zara was the last of the major retailers to commit, after facing pressure from an online petition which received over 300,000 signatures to get the spanish clothing outlet to stop selling angora until there are more ethical production practices put in place. Others companies who’ve boycott angora products include H&M, Primark, Marks & Spencer, Stella McCartney and Acne.
